The dairy in Bismark produces Gouda type semi-hard cheese and Edam type block cheese. A marketing partner delivers the cheeses to the food industry. Added to that, the affiliated butter dairy produces “Deutsche Markenbutter” (highest quality butter) in serving sizes, bars, and blocks for food retail stores, the bakery trade and the food industry.

The company Hoche Butter sells and distributes from the Uelzen site the butter and specialty butter fat products of the Uelzena Group that are produced in Bismark and Uelzen either under its own brand or as private label products throughout Germany and Europe. Target customers include the bakery trade, bakery wholesalers, the convenience products segment and food retailers.

Schoppe & Schultz specializes in the production of instant hot drinks including hot chocolate, cappuccino and chocolate milk as private label products. The main target groups are vending companies, industrial customers, coffee roasters and the food retail trade. The products can be flexibly packed into a range of packagings from single serving sachets to Big Bags. Sales and distribution mainly take place within Europe.      

The Warmsen plant specializes in the production of sweetened condensed milk in many variations. The ingredients range is completed by some cream products and tailor-made milk fat preparations. The in-house distribution department supplies the European confectionery, delicatessen and food industries with quantities ranging from 5 kg bag-in-box to entire tank loads - depending on the customer requests.

The Uelzena eG produces butter fat, specialty butter and concentrated butter for the bakery trade and the food retail trade at its site in Uelzen. The product range also includes health products such as diet and sports nutrition products as well as instant hot drinks. Added to that, the various, specialized technologies, some of which are highly specialized, are also used for contract drying and contract manufacturing of ingredients and finished products.

Together with three other dairy partners, Uelzena eG is operating the milk powder plant (Milchtrockenwerk Norddeutschland GmbH) in Neumünster, Schleswig Holstein. In one of Europe’s largest spraying towers, skimmed milk powder is produced in various qualitative variants for the international food industry. The business unit Ingredients of Uelzena eG distributes the products.
