We provide our products as private labels, packed under our customers’ brands or as a well-established product under our own brand SCHO®.
Hot beverages for vending, catering and food retail
We specialise in instant beverages and powdered components for serving from hot beverage vending machines. As pioneers in this segment in the German market, we have played a decisive role together with our customers in shaping this sector.
The focus of our work is on private-label business for customers throughout Europe. These include major brand manufacturers in the food industry, coffee roasters and caterers, as well as the vending sector and food retail. We also market our own product line with established recipes that have been tested on the market under our own brand SCHO®.
Experience and technological expertise
The expertise we have acquired over many years in the ultra-specific application properties of powders in vending machines, capsule systems or for manual preparation is combined with state-of-the-art technology for production and packaging. Our two production sites in Uelzen and Ratzeburg are home to spray towers, mixing and agglomeration plants for various batch sizes, and packaging plants for sticks, sachets, tins and pouches.

As an experienced private-label producer, we hold important certifications, such as FFSC and are regularly audited by our customers. At request, we also manufacture according to the requirements of Rainforest Alliance, Fairtrade and/or organic specifications.

Under our established brand SCHO®, we offer our customers a complete range of proven recipes for vending machines or manual preparation, which come tried and tested on the market. Chocolate, coffee and tea-based instant beverages along with toppings and coffee creamers from SCHO® offer impressive quality, reliability and incorporate decades of experience.
Perfect spray drying
To produce our instant beverages, we use plants that employ modern spraying and mixing technologies that are specially tailored to the requirements of powdered beverages. We recently invested in the latest agglomeration technology.
Sensory panel
Our sensory panel is trained according to the DIN standard and monitors the good taste of our products – whether while inspecting all current production runs as part of quality assurance or when evaluating new product samples. Our sensory panel, which is trained according to the DIN standard, safeguards the great taste of our products. The assessors either test products from the current production within the scope of our quality assurance concept or they assess new product samples.
Customized development
Customised product developments are one of our strengths as a private label manufacturer. In close collaboration with our customers, we develop tailor-made product solutions for the respective user applications such as dispensing in hot beverage vending machines. These solutions are the outcome of interdisciplinary teamwork involving product development, sales and production.

Fairtrade and certified quality
We produce cocoa and chocolate beverages made from Fairtrade ingredients such as cocoa and sugar for many of our customers. We try to source ingredients locally wherever possible. In addition to Fairtrade, we also produce in compliance with organic or Rainforest Alliance seal standards.
