Stefan Andreas Lerke joins the executive management of Uelzena eG

On 1 January this year, Stefan Andreas Lerke was appointed the new Managing Director of Production and Technology at Uelzena eG. He succeeds Dr. Peter Fichtl, who held this responsible position in the company for more than 15 years.
Stefan Lerke has been the Assistant Manager of Production & Technology since 2013. He took over production management at the site in October 2017 and has been responsible for the Production & Technology division in Uelzen as plant manager since 2021. Stefan Andreas Lerke started his professional training as a dairy specialist at Uelzena in Uelzen. After further training to become a master dairy spe-cialist in Oldenburg, Lower Saxony, he held various positions in other dairies, including in ricotta and mozzarella production in Italy, before returning to Uelzena in 2009. Stefan Lerke was involved in further developing the company’s contract drying capacities and successfully realigning the production of infant ingredients.
At our Uelzen site, his responsibilities cover all production departments as well as central task clarification, technology and engineering, quality management, quality assurance and occupational safety, environmental and energy management.
The Executive Board and Supervisory Board at Uelzena eG are delighted that Stefan Lerke was chosen for this important position as a “home-grown talent” and wish him every success and good luck in his new challenge.
